Sicky-poo

I got a call from daycare just before lunch today that Wyatt had a fever, was very snotty and he threw up. I called the doctor right away since he just had the flu shot on Tuesday and they told me to come on by after I picked him up at daycare. We only had to wait about 5 minutes before the PA came out to get us. She checked his ears and found the beginnings of an infection so we have our first antibiotic. She also prescribed meds for his goopy eye infection and something to dry up the snot. Michael came home from work to stay with Wyatt while I went back to finish the day.

Pop is on his way to our house tonight so he can keep Wyatt tomorrow while Michael and I both go back to work. Mimi doesn't need to chance picking up his cold so she is going to stay home and advise Pop by phone. Wyatt seems to feel alright, just a tad sluggish. I think tonight might be a long one so I'm going to bed early in preparation. Michael bore the brunt of it last night so it's my turn tonight!
