Still, the train ride was fun and it was definitely something we'd like to do again. Wyatt enjoyed flirting with the little girl in the seat in front of him and also tried his best to get his hands on the decorations overhead.
We met Steve, Jessica and Jayca in Frankfort and piled in the mini van for the drive to New Haven. We boarded the train and soon we were coasting on our way to Boston (KY) in our very cozy and toasty warm train car. The kids are encouraged to wear their pajamas and some ladies came around passing out hot chocolate and cookies. There are Christmas carols playing overhead and of course the biggest excitement came at the end when Santa came into our part of the train. He made his way down the aisle and took pictures with all the kids (that would let him).We had a very busy weekend of celebrating and visiting with family and friends. We'll just have to rest during the week because every weekend from now until Christmas is going to be this busy as well. And we are very excited that Opa and Abuelita are coming to Kentucky for Wyatt's 1st Christmas and Birthday!!!
