We decided to do our part to stimulate the economy with our handy rebate check this weekend. We hit Target and the Mall, Best Buy and Gamestop and ate out a few times as well.
Friday night we met our friends Adam and Meagan at O'Charleys to celebrate Deforest's 7th birthday! We had a great meal, Deforest got lots of cool stuff and Adam made a delcious gluten free cake with all flavors of tropical citrus as requested by the birthday boy.
Saturday morning, I got up early and went garage-saleing with Jessica and Jayca. We found some good deals. I stumbled upon one lady's house where I just sat down in her driveway and went through piles and piles of clothes. She had tons of cute stuff that was in great shape and I bought several things there. By the time I got home, Javi was about to arrive on his journey back from his training trip to Georgia. He brought us some peaches, pecans and strawberries that he accumulated during the drive. We went out for lunch and then he headed back home to his sweetie, Carol. Michael, Wyatt and I all came back home for a nap before heading back out to church and then the mall.
Sunday morning, Michael got up and made strawberry crepes that were YUM-O! (move over Rachel Ray) Then Aunt Hope came by for a visit. She entertained Wyatt for us while we both got up and started cleaning house. It is very nice to have friends come visit Wyatt and keep him busy because when we are here with him, we tend to sit and play with him instead of cleaning and doing laundry. Aunt Hope took me out for lunch for Mother's Day and then we went shopping some more! The weather has finally been nice for two weekend days straight so we enjoyed getting out and about.

It sounds like a fun filled weekend. It's always fun to celebrate birthdays, shopping, going out to eat and family visiting!!!!!!
You must have been so busy and forgot to take pictures. I miss my Wyatt picture update! I love the bathtub surprise picture!
