Today we were supposed to have a follow up appointment with the orthopedic surgeon about Wyatt's calcium burn on his ankle. When he was born, his calcium was low so they injected him with calcium in his ankle and wrist. It only took a couple of weeks to get his calcium back up to normal but the injection sites may have caused some tendon damage. We just won't know until he's bigger and walking. I think the orthopedist just wants to keep an eye on him as he grows. Well we got to the clinic at UK and the doctor had been called away to an emergency surgery and would not return for at least an hour. I decided to go ahead and cancel the appointment and try to reschedule later.
We also had an appointment with the social workers today at their office. They were amazed at how big he's gotten and of course Wyatt flirted and charmed them as he always does. We had a great visit! There is no new news as far as the adoption goes. We are waiting on the Jessamine County courts to finish their investigation (due diligence trying to find the birth mother) and as soon as they are satisfied, they'll let us know that we are ready to go to court to finalize. There is no set deadline so we are at the mercy of the court. Hopefully we will get word soon and we can make this a done deal!

Ok, the box said the "bath center" was good until they are 2!!!!! I can't believe he's outgrown it already. I love the new pics. I have pics of him all over my house. Can't wait to see you guys. I am going to find a small crib or something for him so you guys can come up here, go out with Carol and Javi and I can get him all to myself!!!!!
