As you can tell from my not updating the blog in a week...we've been busy around here! Wyatt is sleeping better now and we've been enjoying the great warm weather. We starting sending rice and oatmeal to daycare for lunch and then giving it to him again at dinnertime. I am very curious to see how much he weighs the next time we go to the doctor.
Wyatt and I went to Louisville on Friday night to prepare for a long day of shopping on Saturday with Mimi and Aunt Rachel. Wyatt was good as gold the entire day and I honestly don't think he was fussy for one minute of the day. I was on a mission to find him an outfit for his Baptism. I have been looking for a month or more but never found what I was looking for. I had resigned myself to a backup plan of a more casual outfit, and purchased something that would do half way through our shopping trip. Then, it figures, the last store we went in before we were giving up for the day...we found it! It was even on sale and very close to what I originally wanted. You'll just have to wait for the pictures on June 8th!
Since Wyatt has done so well with the oatmeal and rice, we decided that he is ready for baby food. He had his first taste of green beans tonight for dinner. It did not go well. He had maybe 6 or 7 bites before he started to cry. He made some great faces though and luckily we have it all on video! See youtube videos on the right side at the top.
He also has a new talent of blowing spit bubbles...which should make this new venture into baby food very interesting!

I READ THE BLOG AND i know whakind of mess that can be. you just have to keep on trying.it sesmed like we wasted more food than the ate but foe julie we didn't even have to heat it for her So good luck

I'm trying to figure out the U tube movie of Wyatt eating green beans. I hope all went well on your drive back to Nicholasville today. Did Wyatt sleep or cry back to Nicholasville?
