Long Day

This morning started pretty early, well the same time as during the week...but usually we can squeeze an extra couple of hours out of Wyatt on the weekend. This morning he was not having it though and we were all up and awake after his 6am bottle. He was in a good mood so that helps get me moving in the morning even when I don't want to.

Wyatt and I went out to Portrait Innovations to watch Jayca have her pictures taken. I went ahead and made an appointment for Wyatt in 2 weeks for his 3 month pictures. Aunt Hope just happened to be close by so she came over to visit too. Then Wyatt and I and the Justice family met Michael at the bowling alley for our annual participation in the Bowl For Kids Sake for Big Brothers, Big Sisters. We had a great time but Wyatt slept through the whole thing. We came home and tried to grab a quick hour nap before church. We had our refreshing naps and headed back out into the rainy Saturday afternoon for Palm Sunday Mass. Wyatt was awake and alert during Mass for the first time since we've taken him. He was really good and enjoyed checking out all the people. He fell asleep as we put him in the car so we stopped and had dinner at Applebees while Wyatt slept.

That was quite a day and mommy is wiped out! It's 9:22pm and I'm headed to bed. I need to get caught up on my sleep so we can all be excited when Abuelita and Opa get here tomorrow night!!! Besides, it's daddy's turn to get up with Wyatt in the morning so I'm hoping for a solid 12 hours. Ok I'm just kidding myself, but a mommy can dream!
