Fall Family Fun
Friday night Wyatt and I drove up to Shelbyville to attend the fall festival at Aunt Ray-Ray's school. Wyatt played a few games such as the duck pond, bowling, fish pond, and lollipop pumpkin. We had hot dogs and chili for dinner and met some of Ray-Ray's co-workers and students. We spent the night with Ray-Ray and Jay and then spent Saturday morning watching cartoons. We went to the grocery to get some pumpkins to carve and Uncle Jay found the perfect pattern while we were gone. He drew the pattern free-hand and cut it out for us too. Wyatt wasn't too keen on sticking his hand in the goop. We roasted the pumpkin seeds for a snack before we headed out to have some pictures taken at Science Hill in downtown Shelbyville. The mother of one of Rachel's former students now does professional photography so she set up the appointment for us. Unfortunately Wyatt did not get a full nap in before the photo shoot and he was not in the most cooperative mood. I'm sure she got at least a few great shots because it was a beautiful fall day in a beautiful outdoor location. Pop, Mimi and Uncle Matt met up with us afterward for dinner at the Bistro in downtown Shelbyville.

Jay did a nice job on carving "Thomas" on the pumpkin. Such a serious expression on should I say "NO expression" on Mr. Wyatt's face! Like you said it was a beautiful fall day and hopefully several good pictures. The photographer certainly had her work cut out ---she was good and patient with Mr. Wyatt. I guess you never know how picture day with a two year old will go.
Love, Mimi xxxxooooo
