I believe it was Friday night when I took pictures of Wyatt's dance party. He's throwing down some artistic moves along with dangerous but controlled drop and rolls. We're trying to capture some of his new dance steps on video but for some reason he's not as lively when we have the camera on him. He also continued the dance party last night with Katie when she and Julie stopped by to visit. They had fun dancing and chasing each other around in circles. You wouldn't even know that he stayed home sick from school on Monday.
Wyatt woke up in the middle on the night Sunday with a nasty cough. I stayed home with him to keep an eye on him and make sure it wasn't anything serious. He was in a great mood all day long and we lounged around watching many, many, MANY episodes of Thomas the Train, Imagination Movers, Jungle Junction and Dinosaur Train. I only caught him with a fever once and he was rambunctious and mischevious as usual so we sent him back to school for the rest of the week.
On Monday we also ventured out to the grocery to pick up a few items for the rest of the week. I got him a Wyatt-sized pumpkin and he colored it with his Slick Stix crayons.
His teachers tell us that he loves to dance to Backyardigans music at school and he also loves to list all the names of the Thomas trains when he is laying down for naptime. I'm not sure if that is a stall tactic or if he's just trying to keep his mind sharp even while unconscious.

He does enjoy the dancing or whatever you might call it. I'm glad to hear he is feeling OK.
