You think running a marathon is hard, try chasing someone around town during one! We drove up to Louisville on Friday night and got up early Saturday morning to watch Uncle Jay run in the Derby Festival Marathon. It was extremely hot with temperatures in the 80's and Uncle Jay did a terrific job finishing 26.2 miles in under 5 hours. We were able to catch him at 6 different spots along the route and cheered him on as he and his friend Jon ran by.

On Friday night we went downtown for the Balloon Glow at the Fairgrounds. Wyatt seemed to like the big balloons and it was a nice evening to be outside. The traffic getting out of the parking lot was quite a mess though.

We did enjoy cheering Jay on during his marathon race. What a great accomplishment!!! The weather was nice except for the balloon race (cancelled because it was windy) Other than that it was a nice weekend.
