HO! HO! NOOOOOOOO!!!!

You might have guessed from the title that Wyatt's first encounter with Santa did not go well. We don't have big plans for this weekend, just trying to knock out some of our remaining Christmas shopping. While we were at the mall, we decided to see if we could get a picture of Wyatt with Santa. He was in a great mood and smiling and didn't even have a snotty nose for the first time in days. He was tired of sitting in the stroller so I got him out and let him walk around a little bit. As we approached the front of the line, I started walking him toward Santa. His steps got smaller and smaller until I had to push him forward and finally pick him up. I sat him on Santa's lap and he started wailing. The lady took a picture but I didn't get to see it since I wasn't going to fork over $16 for a screaming baby shot. I did not expect him to freak out on Santa. He is so sociable and smiles and flirts with strangers on a regular basis. Something about Santa did not sit right with him though. We will have a second chance next weekend when we ride on the Santa train in New Haven.
