Well we had our first experience with projectile vomiting last night...garden vegetables to be exact. It really was just the one major episode and then a few dry heaves afterwards. The poor thing looked so pitiful for a couple of hours afterwards. I talked to the after hours nurse and she had me get some pedialyte and Sprite and give it to him slowly over the next few hours. He finally fell asleep around 11pm and then Daddy stayed up to make sure he didn't get sick again. It was just that one time and then he bounced back quickly.
Michael took Wyatt to the doctor this morning just as a precaution and they told him that there was a fast-acting bug going around and that was all it was. He weighed in at 17 lbs even and 27 1/4 inches tall. Mimi came up to take care of Wyatt while Daddy caught up on his sleep. He seemed to be back to his usual self this evening and fell asleep just a little while ago.
