Wyatt is on the verge of crawling and babbles all day long, he is even pretty strong when we stand him up and just let him hold on for balance. It seems like yesterday that he was 7 pounds and would fall asleep on my chest...now he's closing in on 20 pounds, and nearly walking and talking. When I think back about all the years of waiting that brought us to this point, it seems like a blink of the eye. Somebody up there was watching out for us because he sure picked the best little boy we could ever have hoped for.
Last night, Michael and I went out to our friend Kelly's house for a fabulous backyard luau. We ended up staying until nearly midnight and managed to only call home once to check on him. We knew he'd be having fun with Aunt Hope and the doggies. I know Aunt Hope had fun having Wyatt all to herself...even if he was a bit fussy.
We got up today and went to lunch with Aunt Hope before she had to head back home. After we came back to the house, we decided to head over to the YMCA pool around 3pm. We ended up staying there for 1 1/2 hours and Wyatt had a blast. He had so much fun that he was sound asleep before we even left the parking lot. He's still napping hard right now. I hope he doesn't over-do it because mommy and daddy have to go to work tomorrow!

Like you said somebody up there has sent you a sweetheart! With the teddy bear for a growth guage you can look back as see how much he has grown in a short period of time---loving every minute!!!!
