My big boy!

We had the dreaded 2 month shot appointment today. Wyatt weighed 11lbs, 7oz which is 50th percentile and he was 24.25" long which is 90th percentile. Sounds like we have a long lean machine on our hands! He took all four shots like a man---cried like a baby! Haha! He really did very well, he first looked at me like "What the hell was that??!?!" and then once I got him dressed and back into the carseat and binkie in mouth he was fine and dandy. By the time we got to the house (3 minute drive) he was sound asleep.
I really really love the pediatrician and she sat and talked to me for a good 45 minutes and gave me lots of great advice and what to expect in the coming months. She and the PA both came in and loved on him and he flirted back big time.
Yesterday we went to Sams Club to get some formula to hold him over for a few weeks and then we stopped by my office to show Wyatt off so he show them just how big he's gotten. Then we came home to visitors. Julie and Katie came over to see Wyatt and Katie loved holding Wyatt and kept telling us that "he wants me". She's going to be a great baby-sitter someday!
Today is my last weekday home with Wyatt for awhile. I know this is going to be harder on me than him. My mom is coming to watch him for two weeks and then Michael's parents will be here the third week in March so that will help ease me back into work. Stay tuned!
