Ok I have REALLY slacked off on the blog thing for the last several months...ok it's been nearly a year! But, I decided that I am going to pick it back up and share some of the fun stories and amazing laughs that Wyatt brings into our daily lives.

He's tons of fun right now. We have been completely rid of diapers since just after his 3rd birthday. He speaks clearly and has a vivid imagination. He still throws the occasional temper tantrum and he can get short of patience (but then again so does his daddy!)
He is currently playing soccer and seems to be a natural! We signed him up for the winter indoor session and he did well the first couple of weeks but then ended up in a bad mood with a short attention span during the last few practices. We decided to give it another try for the spring outdoor session and it is a world of difference this time around. He has a great coach who is the dad of one of his teammates. Last Monday, you know, about half way through the rain-soaked week we had, they had team photos. You haven't lived until you've experienced 8 sets of parents trying to keep eight 3 year olds away from several acres of wide open fields littered with mud puddles! They had their pictures taken, and then we turned them loose!
Wyatt had a hard time grasping the concept of which goal to kick towards. He just headed toward whichever goal was closer to him at the time. It is extremely amusing to watch these kids, I am definitely taking the video camera next week. The coach nicknamed Wyatt "The Enforcer". Let's just say he was a little free with his hands. If anyone got near him and the ball, he gave them a big push out of the way. We had a long talk on the drive home about how we don't use our hands AT ALL in soccer!
