Weekend Festivities

Saturday evening we celebrated our friend Steve's surprise 30th birthday in Georgetown. It was at Golden Corral and Wyatt ate like a madman! Buffets are a great source of experimental foods because we can see what he'll eat without having to actually buy and cook it ourselves only to have him spit it out or throw it across the room. He pretty much stuck to the foods we already knew he liked, but he must have a hollow leg because I don't know where he put all that food!

On Sunday we met up with my family to celebrate the boys' birthdays. My brother in law, my brother and Michael's birthdays are all within a week of each other. We met in Shelbyville and had dinner at Claudia Sanders Dinnerhouse...yet another buffet. Wyatt wasn't quite as interested in the food as he was walking the halls of the restaurant but he still ate very well. He was worn out from the busy weekend and was snoozing most of the way home.

Tonight we are bracing for a "Snow 1 Emergency" as the news station puts it. I'm hoping we get enough snow so that it will be worth bundling Wyatt up in the ski bibs that Mimi bought him and maybe we'll have some pictures to post of his first snow man and snow angel!

Wyatt is a growing little boy that's where all the food goes!!!!
Looking out my back door the weather people around here were not as accurate as they thought from last nights report. I hope the cold weather disappears soon but not before Wyatt has time to build a snowman and snow angel in his new ski bibs. Send me pictures of how cute he looks!!!!!
Love, Mimi xxxxxoooooooo
