We've had quite an eventful couple of weeks around here. Last week Wyatt had hand/foot/mouth disease which looks like chicken pox but is more like a skin rash than an actual illness. He never had a fever or really felt bad, just a little itchy when it really flared up. He stayed home from school for a couple of days and with some super duper antibiotics his skin cleared up really fast. Last Saturday morning we met up in Frankfort with Mimi and Pop to hand off Wyatt for his first overnight away from Mommy and Daddy at the same time. He had a blast and loved being the center of attention while Mimi, Pop, Ray-Ray, Jay and Matt spoiled him rotten.
Daddy found out on Thursday that he would be headed to New Jersey for work on Sunday evening so we took advantage of the alone time to get him packed and also have a few nice meals out in a restaurant without the typical toddler interruptions.
Wyatt and Mommy spent some quality time together during the week and we made it to the airport just as Daddy's plane was landing on Friday afternoon. We literally drove up to the parking structure along side his plane landing. He told us that he spotted the white van as he was landing too. Wyatt loves airplanes and kept asking to go get on one as we left the airport. Daddy had a great trip to NJ and even got to visit Times Square and send us lots of neat pictures.
Here are some pictures of our fun in the sun. Our neighbors already had fences on each side of our yard but we finally had someone come and put up a privacy fence across the back and a picket fence off the back corners of the house. We love having the boundaries so Wyatt can run freely and we don't have to stay right on top of him, worried about him running too close to the street. And Wyatt loves to run. He would line us up at one fence and tell us to "go!" and race us to the other side of the yard. I took his basketball goal, t-ball set, soccer ball, etc out but all he wants to do is run!

It was a win-win project. I'm sure you all will enjoy having the fence-it sure looks like Wyatt is!
