Good Times

We had a great weekend with beautiful weather and we certainly kept ourselves busy. On Saturday we went to swim and cookout with Steve, Jess and Jayca. I took Wyatt's splash pool for the kiddos and we even rigged up a slide right into the pool which was a big hit. Wyatt and Jayca played together very well and Wyatt was sound asleep in his carseat before we left Georgetown.

Today we planned to get Wyatt's haircut again, it is growing so fast! But he was napping in the car while we were running errands so we chose not to wake him and Daddy just ran in and got his haircut while I stayed in the car with Wyatt. We wanted him to get his nap out because we were headed to Gattitown to celebrate Katie's 5th birthday. Wyatt's favorite part of the whole party was the carousel. He rode the horsies 3 times! They actually had some games and rides that he did ok with. Daddy won him a bouncy ball with one of those "claw" games. Then they had a kiddie version with a t-rex to win some dinosaurs. Mommy tried it once and failed and as I put the card in to give it another try, Wyatt hit the button and pushed the lever and whamo! won himself 3 plastic dinosaurs all by himself! I think he would have been thoroughly entertained just by running wild with all those kids...we will definitely put Gattitown on the list of special weekend outings!
